2012: This species was too frequent and widespread over most of the Reserve to be itemised in detail. The first sighting was of a single on May 5 but by the end of the month (May 28) 600+ were estimated. Good number continued throught June before tailing off in July with the last record of eight on August 14.
2013: Recorded from May 22 until July 5 (but
probably overlooked for a period after this date). This species was much too frequent and
widespread over most of the Reserve to be itemised in detail. The first sighting was of four
individuals on May 22 (much later than in 2012) but by the end of the month and
through early June it was present in large numbers. Good numbers also continued
through the remainder of the month before tailing off in early July.
2014: Very frequent. Recorded from May 20 in large numbers until 22/7.
